these days with things like msn and myspace, language is changing. lol now means ‘laugh out loud’ atm no longer means the hole in the wall where you get money..its now ‘at the moment’ and brb means ‘be right back’.
words are shortened, words are left out, numbers are used to replace letters (m8, l8r etc). More and more people are writing in txt form and proper english is slowly going away from the younger generations. there are completely
older generations find it hard to undersatnd it and the way its used but its so common amongst teenagers and young adults thats they find it easy to understand.

these are used in so many messages, e-mails and comments left of myspace by younger people
as we are using it now, it will only continue and become more popular and last into older generations
